Leaders worldwide are being judged at present for their ability to manage in a crisis situation. Have you considered how you would approach your own leadership in a crisis situation? On Tuesday we have the great privilege of having QFES Assistant Commissioner Joanne Greenfield joining us to talk about managing through crisis situations and leadership styles that lead to the best results. As part of the The Emergency Management and Community Capability Directorate, AC Greenfield provides strategic direction and leadership for Emergency Management policy and services, undertaken in a partnership approach to contribute to the resilience of local communities across the phases of prevention, preparedness, response and recovery. AC Greenfield most recently worked at Queensland Health and has a long career in managing large scale operations, working in participatory ways with communities and over 10 years’ experience in the united nations system in emergency management and humanitarian assistance. From the fires that ravaged our country at the beginning of the year to the myriad of crisis situations AC Greenfield has found herself in, to now of course, COVID-19 response, business leaders will get first hand insights on what are the key components of crisis management relevant to all business. To have a guest in such high demand take time for SCBWN while still working through a crisis is a true honour and we look forward to having you join us to capture how to lead with impact.
