REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

Event Registration Cancellation by Participant

We understand things happen. 

If you are unable to attend an event we will credit the price paid for your ticket against the price of a ticket to attend another event within 12 months, provided we receive not less than 72 hours’ notice in writing before the event.  Alternatively, if you find another person to take your place please advise us of their name and we will warmly welcome them. 

If you would prefer your money refunded and you have advised us 72 hours before the event, a refund will be arranged less a 50% fee (to contribute to the cost of the meal that has been ordered for you as we have to commit to meals and venue numbers a week prior to the event).

Credits will not be available for registrants who fail to attend or give less than 72 hours’ notice.

All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder, specifying the name of the attendee and/or a transaction number.  Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.

Event Cancellation

SCBWN reserves the right to cancel an event because of low enrolments or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable.  If SCBWN cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund and we will endeavour to process such refund within 21 days of the cancellation notice.  

SCBWN’s maximum liability is limited to a full refund of the event registration fee.  SCBWN accepts no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other additional costs incurred.
