How do you define an empowered woman? That is the question that SCBWN is aiming to support you to define in 2022.
SCBWN is a purpose driven network that exists to celebrate and empower women in achieve in business. In 2022 we will focus on what empowerment is and support our members and guests to build a toolkit towards achievement of such.
Imagine attending just one e-vent and walking away with an action plan towards your own empowerment. Because that is what this e-vent will aim to deliver!
When we sat as a committee to define what an empowered woman looks like, we found each of our definitions varied and it opened up an engaging, stimulating and powerful conversation that we wish to include our members and guests alike. As an all inclusive network we have found a way you can all be involved.
For our first event of the year we will bring back to life our online e-vent series, Wake Up with SCBWN. In 2020 we delivered many of these popular e-vents allowing our members and guests ease of online access so they could participate whether home with kids, already in the office, or just simply unable to get to a venue.
At this e-vent, President Min Swan will share with you the powerful conversation that took place amongst the committee, a model that eventuated, as well as pose some questions for you to explore your own version of an empowered woman.
And because Min believes that every member of SCBWN will find someone on the committee that they find most relatable (or their cup of tea, as she phrases it), she will then invite each committee member to share their definition of an empowered woman, as well as real life advice in their area of expertise so that you can build your very own plan towards the most empowered year of your life.
This e-vent will be practical and strategic! It will be hands-on and high-level! It will pose as many questions as it answers! But we guarantee you one thing, it will leave you prepared to move forward with a vision of what you believe your most empowered outcome will be. And there might be some homework for those who choose to participate in a follow-up session on Wednesday 23rd February at 5.00pm – 6.00pm as part of our Wind Down with SCBWN drinks hosted by Min and the committee to hear from you your input on what SCBWN could deliver towards supporting you on our path to empowerment.
