Kendall Hatcher MP

As a former teacher, business owner, community volunteer, and proud mother of four, Kendall Morton was elected as the State Member of Parliament for Caloundra in 2024 and has recently changed her name following re-marriage.

Kendall is driven by a deep desire to make a difference and create positive change for the wider community and future generations. Prior to her role in Parliament, she was the founder and owner of Home Care Assistance, where she led a team of 140+ staff delivering personalised in-home care for seniors and people with disabilities across a region spanning from Redcliffe to Bundaberg.

Recognised as the SCBWN 2018 Outstanding Businesswoman of the Year, Kendall built her business from the ground up before selling it to pursue her passion for public service.

A strong advocate for women in leadership, Kendall encourages others to follow their own path without comparison. She embraces change, believing that what serves us in one stage of life may evolve - and that growth comes from being willing to adapt, learn, and step forward with courage. Known for her strong work ethic, she leads by example and is never afraid to do the hard work required to create impact.
